Virtual Talent Show at Shortridge

This year, Tri-M Music Honor Society will be hosting a virtual talent show for Shortridge. The following announcement was sent to the staff regrading the event:

Hey Shortridge!

Do you love to perform? Do you have a fun party trick? Well boy do I have the opportunity for you! We are holding a school-wide talent show on December 18th during Friday Connect! All you have to do is submit a video of your talent, (the one you want to be shown at the show) and fill out a short application to go along with it. Your video must be under three minutes and school appropriate. Any and all talents are appreciated, from singing, dancing, poetry, visual art, or comedy skits. And anything else you feel passionate about! The deadline for submissions is Monday November 23rd at 9 am. The link to the application is below. Good Luck!

This link will take you to a google form which is where you will send your video which must be under 3 minutes long and school appropriate. When filling out the application you will state your name, your grade, a fun fact about yourself, and your talent. Once you’ve done all this you will upload your video to this link:

If any issues occur with uploading your video you will want to email it to

The announcement was made by Susan Sieler, a music teacher at Shortridge. She also wanted students to know that “…there is a screening process. All videos will be reviewed for content by a panel of students and teachers.” ATLs will also be given this information, and will be discussed there.
